    Saludos Ahaus,


    Hace mucho tiempo desde la última vez que compartimos con vosotros noticias sobre lo que estamos trabajando y creemos que ha llegado la hora de contaros más. Qué es exactamente lo que nos traemos entre manos?


    Lo hemos dejado entender anteriormente con alguna que otra mención vaga, pero me alegra poder confirmar oficialmente que estamos trabajando en una nueva versión de Tentlan, completamente rediseñada y mejorada, para dispositivos móviles/celulares. Esta versión no será una secuela o un juego por separado, sino una mejora para todos los jugadores actuales; todo el progreso se traspasará a la nueva versión tal cual.


    El desarrollo progresa bien; en 2020 hicimos crecer nuestro equipo de artistas y diseñadores UI y en 2021 hicimos lo mismo con nuestro equipo de desarrolladores. Nuestro objetivo era lanzarlo en 2021 pero, como suele ocurrir en el mundo de desarrollo de juegos, conforme avanzábamos fué creciendo el tamaño y la ambición del proyecto, y de esta manera no hemos podido llegar a lanzar tan pronto como inicialmente queríamos. Nuestra intención era que esta versión fuera un lanzamiento sorpresa, por eso decidimos permanecer en silencio por tanto tiempo, pero ya que no hemos conseguido lanzar en 2021 pensamos que lo justo es que os contemos por lo menos que seguimos vivos y seguimos dedicados a hacer de Tentlan un juego fenomenal a largo plazo. Actualmente tenemos como objetivo un lanzamiento de entre mediados a finales de 2022; esperamos poder contaros más en futuros anuncios hasta entonces.


    Si juegas a nuestro otro juego, es posible que hayas visto que hemos hecho un anuncio similar allí también. Esto es así porque, efectivamente, estamos trabajando simultaneamente en nuevas versiones de ambos dos juegos, las cuales esperamos poder lanzar más o menos al mismo tiempo. Trabajar en dos juegos completos al mismo tiempo aumenta la complejidad de todo el proyecto, es por ello que hemos tenido que hacer crecer nuestro equipo, pero no os preocupéis, ambos dos progresan bien ;)

    Os dejo con un avance en forma de nuevos gráficos de la nueva versión. De qué son exáctamente estos gráficos? Tendréis que esperar para averiguarlo ;) Que tengáis unas felices navidades y un prospero año nuevo Ahaus :)

  • Development Update - December 2021

    Dear Ahaus,


    It's been a long time since we've shared an update of what we are working on and we think the time is right to tell you more about it. So, what have we been up to?


    We've hinted at this before, but I'm happy to confirm officially that we are currently working on a completely new, redesigned and upgraded version of Tentlan for mobile devices. This will not be a sequel or a separate game, but an upgrade for everyone currently playing; all your progress will carry over to the new version.


    Development is progressing well; in 2020 we grew our team of artists and UI designers and in 2021 we did the same with our development team. We were aiming for a 2021 release but, as it often happens in the game development world, as we progressed the scope and ambition of the project grew, and so we have not been able to deliver as fast as we hoped. We intended this to be a surprise release, hence why we chose to stay silent for so long, but since we were not able to meet our 2021 release target we thought it was only right to at least let you know that we are still alive and still dedicated to make Tentlan awesome in the long term. We are now targeting a mid to late 2022 launch; we hope to be able to share more in future updates until then.


    If you play our other game, you may also have noticed that we've made a similar post over there. In case you are curious, this is because, yes, we are indeed working simultaneously on new versions of both games, which we hope to release at roughly the same time. Working on two fully fledged games does increase the complexity of the project, which is why we had to grow our team, but don't worry, both are progressing well ;)


    I'll leave you with our first official teaser artwork for the upcoming new version. What do these mean? You'll have to wait to find out ;) Have a merry christmas and a happy new year Ahaus :)

  • Cese al fuego navideño 2021

    Saludos Ahaus!


    Como es tradición, y para que puedas pasar estas fechas con tus seres queridos sin preocuparte de ser saqueado, este año traemos de nuevo unos días de alto al fuego en todos los servidores donde desactivaremos ataques y espionaje para todos. La protección se aplicará en las siguientes fechas:

    • Del 24.12 16:00 (CET) al 26.12 18:00 (CET)
    • Del 31.12 18:00 (CET) al 01.01 18:00 (CET)

    Los poblados bárbaros estarán exentos de esta regla claro, y todo lo demás continuará funcionando como siempre. Esperamos que esta medida ayude a disfrutar un poco más estas navidades.

  • Nouveau serveur Acanmul ouvre le 20 juillet

    Chers Ahaus,


    Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer l'arrivée d'un nouveau serveur francophone à partir du mardi 20 juillet prochain à 14h00. Il s'agira du fr26, et son nom est Acanmul.


    Ce serveur est un serveur normal, c'est à dire qu'il n'a pas de paramètre spécifiques.

  • New Super Speed Server Mitla is now available!

    Hello Ahaus,


    A new super speed server round is coming to Tentlan! This coming Wednesday (July 14th), the new international world Mitla will begin featuring six times (x6) the usual speed. That means super fast construction, research, recruitment, travel times, and resources abound! But careful, because your enemies will also maneuver at a breakneck speed, you'll have to think fast to stay on top on this server. Are you up to it?

    We are still here, it's just that we are a small team and have to ration our time very carefully to get things done, and that can mean that we fall behind on replying on the forum sometimes, but it's not that we don't care or that we forget.

    Porque por un lado un jugador baneado puede ser desbaneado en el futuro (si se encuentra motivo para revisar el ban), y por otro lado porque el jugador baneado no puede defenderse ni recoger maíz, lo cual haría las batallas bastante injustas y demasiado fáciles para el atacante.
