- How do I join a tribe?
To join a tribe, you must have a level 1 Tribal Council. As soon as you've built this building, you can search for a tribe and send an application.
- Where can I find an overview of all tribes?
Click on the "Highscore" icon as pictured below:
This will open up a window with an overview of all tribes of your game world. If you already know the tribe name you wish to join, you can find it by typing the name into the search field that is integrated in the building "Tribal Council", or else by pressing the search button:
- How do I send a tribe application?
There are two ways to do it:
If you are currently not a member of any tribe, the easiest way is to click on the tribe profile that you want to join. If new members are accepted, you'll find the following image and the button for sending applications:
If you are already a member of a tribe, but want to change, then click on the profile of the tribe you wish to join, and select the option "Submit application":
- How do I found a tribe?
First, you must have a level 3 Tribal Council. Once you have it, go to the section "Found tribe" and type the tribe name and its tag in the respective fields, then click on the "Found tribe" button.
- How many members can join a tribe, are there any limitations?
Currently, there are no limitations as to the number of tribe members.
- How can I send invites to other players to join my tribe?
You must be either founder or administrator to be able to send invitations to other players. To send an invite, select a player, for example, on the world map through clicking on their city. This will bring up a menu with various options, one of them is the "user profile":
By clicking on the "user profile" label, it will open up a window with details about that player. Select the option "Invite to tribe" by clicking on the dropdown menu underneath the avatar:
- I want to withdraw an invite that I sent to a player. Is it possible?
There is an option to remove invitation sent to a player in case they don't answer or if you've changed your mind. This option is accessible through Tribe>> Members. Select the player in question, and by clicking on "Edit", you'll be able to remove the invitation:
- What happens if a founder of a tribe leaves the tribe? Would the tribe get disbanded?
If the founder of a tribe pro-actively leaves their tribe (i.e. using the option "leave the tribe" in the Tribe Settings), the tribe will not get disbanded, but the founder rights will automatically go over to the "oldest" tribe administrator, i.e. to that tribe administrator who was the first to get admin rights (if there are more than one tribe admin).
If there is no tribe administrator, then the founder rights will automatically be assumed by the oldest tribe member, i.e. by the tribe member who was the first to join the tribe after the founder.
- Our founder already left the game, how can we name a new founder?
If the founder already left the game, but in your tribes he/she still holds the founder position, the following applies:
The tribe is to hold elections and according to the majority vote of 51%, a new founder will be elected. Before calling the elections, the tribe administrator must contact the support team and communicate about the upcoming elections, as well as clarify the voting deadline. Then all active tribe members are invited to send emails (in-game private messages to a member of the support team or to support@tentlan.com) naming the person they vote for. After counting the voices, the support team will replace the founder.
This policy has been adopted to prevent from possible problems that may arise as a result of several players contacting the support team and asking to appoint them as a new founder, as well as to avoid any grounds for discontent or annoyance by the majority of the tribe members.
If you don't wish to make use of this procedure, then there is an option of disbanding the tribe and creating a new one.
