It's only when you switch between cities that the activity window closes, and I suppose this is what you mean, but otherwise the windows should stay open if you switch between monitors (we tested and fine tuned multi-monitors setups heavily when Tentlan was in development). The activity window closes when the city is switched since it needs to reset itself, but it's valid criticism, there is probably a way around this.
